Welcome to NORTHĒRA GLOBAL, an independent online education and academic support school based in Sapporo, Japan.
We are experienced, qualified teachers with extensive experience teaching and supporting students in international education. Our aim is to provide high-quality, personalised academic support to students studying the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).
Our initial focus is IB Diploma English B, with support available for both Standard Level (SL) and Higher Level (HL) students. Our courses are designed to complement the learning students receive at their own schools, helping them develop their English, strengthen their understanding of course requirements, prepare for assessment and examinations, and become more confident and independent learners.
Classes are taught live online, supported by additional learning materials, activities, assignments and teacher feedback through our online learning platform.
Although we are based in Sapporo, Japan, NORTHĒRA GLOBAL is an online school and we welcome students from any country. As our live classes operate from Japan, students and families should consider time-zone differences when selecting classes.
Independent IBDP Support
NORTHĒRA GLOBAL is an independent education provider and is not an IB World School or affiliated with, authorised by, or endorsed by the International Baccalaureate Organization.
Our role is to provide supplementary academic support. Students remain enrolled in and responsible to their own IB World School for their official IB courses, assessments and Diploma Programme requirements.
